With over 25 years of experience working as a naturalist and an official member of Sri Lankan’s Tourist Board, our Lahiru Villa owner Nandana is the perfect guide for your trip. Having worked at the Young Zoologists’ Association and various hotels across the country, Nandana will be able to talk you through all of the monkeys, reptiles, buffalo and birds you spot as you glide slowly down the river on one of our cruises.

Our Lahiru Villa is situated just a short 3-minute walk from the beach in Galle, making it the perfect relaxing choice for your trip. We offer comfortable twin and double rooms with amazing views over Sri Lankan palm trees and the sea, so you can enjoy breakfast to the sound of birds in the trees and watch the sun rise from our rooftop. With free WiFi, you’ll have plenty of time to upload all your safari pictures to Instagram! Each room features a desk, seating area, and a private bathroom with a shower. The property also includes a 24-hour front desk, garden, tour desk, and laundry facilities, as well as free parking. Whenever you wish to venture out, we have bicycle rentals and car hire available by request.

Of course, your stay isn’t just about the accommodation. Lahiru Villa is strategically located just a 5-minute drive from Galle Fort and the city, where you can walk around and soak up the centuries-old Dutch and Portuguese architecture and enjoy a bite to eat in one of the city’s many establishments.
